function

■ Symptom

Air purification function

■ Possible Cause

PM1.0 sensor of the air conditioner is a device that detects the degree of the contamination of fine and larger particles within the air and it needs to be cleaned

on regular basis.

■ Solution or Settings

▷  Clean the dust sensor of the wall   mounted/2in1(bedroom) air conditioner

1. Check where the PM1.0 sensor of  Clean Air Wall-mounted air conditioner is located.

Even though the designs of the air conditioners are same, whether the sensor is applied or not may differ  depending on the model name.

2. Check where the dust sensor is located.

It  is marked 'PM1.0 SENSOR'. Remove the cover of the sensor completely. The lens of the sensor is attached at 10 O’clock position.

3. Clean the lens

Clean the lens with wet cotton swab and then wipe off the moisture with dry cotton swab.

If dust contains oily components an oil film is produced and it can spoil the lens more if its wiped with water only.

In this case, wipe off the lens with a cotton moistened with alcohol (eg. You can also use Soju:  Korean traditional distilled liquor)
