If the pipe temperature has not risen sufficiently high during heating operation, so, to make sure that the less hot wind will not directly touch the human body, it will operate at the pre heating angle instead of existing angle, which means that the louver will be opened slightly.
When the pipe temperature has risen sufficiently high, then it will return to the original angle that is set.
Defrosting operation
In case of a model that runs the outdoor unit for heating, warm coolant will be circulated toward the indoor side, but cold coolant will be circulated toward the outdoor side.
In case that the outdoor temperature and humidity are high, there will be frost at the rear of the outdoor unit, in this case, you can use the function called defrosting to remove frosts generated during heating.
During defrosting operation, indoor operation will be paused for 5 to 15 minutes temporarily and only the outdoor unit will operate. During defrosting, melting water from frost can drip to the floor or steams can be generated.
Pre heating operation
The function is used to heat the pipes for the indoor unit of the air conditioner in early phases of heating.
When just about to start heating operation, there would be no cold air only if the pipe temperature is heated to a certain limit, and the louver is opened but there will be no wind temporarily.
Even after heating starts as the result of pre heating of the pipe to a certain temperature level, it is possible that its temperature is lower than or similar to your body temperature, thus it might feel lukewarm during a very cold day.
