[LG Air Conditioner] How to read error codes

Troubleshooting

LG air conditioner error codes differ depending on the model. For wall-mounted units, check the LED on the remote, while stand-type models display them on the panel or LED.

How to Read Error Codes on Ceiling-Mounted Cassette Acs

  • LED indicator

The indicator color is either green or red, depending on the model. The number of blinks indicates the number (1, 2, 3, etc.), and the interval between blinks indicates the digit:

    • Long interval: Hundreds digit
    • Medium interval: Tens digit
    • Short interval: Ones digit

Error codes can be difficult to read in real time. Try recording a video with your phone to easily check the repeating blink pattern.

  • Display Panel

"CH" and the error code alternate on the display every 0.5 seconds.
