My AC drain hose is cracked / torn / damaged. What should I do?
Symptom
My AC drain hose is cracked, torn or damaged.
How to fix
1. When water leaks due to a damaged drain hose, connect the extension drain hose to the original hose
using the fitting shield and apply tape around the joint. The extension hose can be purchased at a local hardware store.
2. If the original drain hose is placed outside of the house or is hard to connect with the extension hose,
call a service center for technical assistance.
