- The automatic drying function operates.
Auto drying function
When you stop the cooling or dehumidification operations, the drying function will begin automatically.
When the automatic drying function begins, the air conditioner operates in air blowing status for a set
period of time in order to remove any moisture remaining in the evaporator.
Moisture produces a favorable habitat condition for mold and bacteria, so, it is recommended to set and use
the automatic drying function for a clean air conditioner.
The inside drying status may vary depending on the temperature of indoor air and humidity conditions.
Display on remote control screen
➔ When the automatic drying function is set, automatic drying is displayed on the remote control screen.
The relevant screen may vary by product.
Floor standing air conditioner
➔ Automatic drying time
~ Prior to 2014: Turn off after operating for 3 minutes
2015 - 2019: Turn off after operating for 10 minutes
2020 - 2021: 10/30/60 minutes selective drying
After 2022: AI dry (the drying time is set automatically according to the operation time and indoor
humidity)

operating time/indoor humidity.
※ AI drying time up to 1 hour is set automatically according to indoor temperature and humidity.

1. Display of automatic drying for LED type
➔ Automatic drying time
Prior to 2016: The product turns off after operating for 30 minutes.
After 2017: The product turns off after operating for 10 minutes.
2019 - 2021: The product turns off after operating for 10 minutes or the set time of 10 minutes/30
minutes/60 minutes.
After 2022: The product turns off after AI drying (the drying time is set automatically according to the
operating time)
Application year: Products released prior to 2021
Status: [Co] is displayed on the display of the product.
Application year: Products released after 2022
Status: The remaining time of automatic drying in [minute(s)] is displayed on the display of the product.
2. Display of automatic drying for LED lamp type
➔ Automatic drying time
Products released prior to 2016: The product turns off after operating for 30 minutes
Products released after 2017: The product turns off after operating for 10 minutes
2019 - 2021: The product turns off after operating for 10 minutes or the set time of 10 minutes/30
minutes/60 minutes.
After 2022: The product turns off after AI drying (the drying time is set automatically according to the
operating time)
Status: The product [power] indication lamp lights and it does not turn off during the operating time of the automatic drying function.
If the product operation is terminated in the Off Timer or Sleep Timer Shutdown mode, the automatic drying function may not operate and the product may be turned off.
