TV- No Power

The remote control is often the reason the device will not power on. Try to use the power button on the front of the television to power on the unit. If the unit powers on, dead battries or a faulty remote is the problem. If the unit remains powered off however, continue with the following troubleshooting steps.

Check the Power Indicator Light

If the power indicator light is illuminated on the front of the device, the unit is receiving power.

If the power indicator light is not illuminated, the device may not be receiving power.

Some people choose to disable the power indicator light when they run the initial setup so this may not be the case with your unit.

Check the Power Cable

It is not uncommon for the power cable to come loose or disconnected. You will need to check the power cable by hand to be sure it is fully inserted into the back of the unit as well as the outlet or power strip.

If you are using a surge protector or power strip, verify that the power is in the ‘ON’ position.

Connect the power cable to a different outlet or a different power strip.

If the unit remains unresponsive, a service call may be necessary.
