BD- Dolby Digital Output Issues

Check the Audio Settings

Access the Home screen by pressing the Home button on the LG remote.

Select Setup.

Access the Audio menu and check the Digital Output Settings:

HDMI or Digital Optical Output- Change the digital output setting to either Primary Pass Through or BitStream (Depending on the model).

RCA Audio Connections- If you have connected the red and white audio out to a HTS/receiver, Dolby Digital is not an option. Check the home audio equipment like Pro Logic II or a VSM (Virtual Surround Mode) to stimulate surround sound audio.

Note: Some Blu-ray discs may have multiple audio tracks available on the disc. If adjusting the sound settings does not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to access the pop-up menu of the Blu-ray in question to see if a Dolby Digital track must be selected within the disc settings.
