[LG refrigerator error codes] Text saying [F(r) dH] appears on the display.

Troubleshooting

An [F(r) dH] appearing on the LED lamp display is a defrosting (frost removal) failure error code that requires a product inspection.

F dH or r dH (defrosting-related) error
It is a freezer defrosting or refrigerator defrosting failure caused by ice accumulation, blocked drainage hole, temperature fuse disconnection, heater disconnection or main PCB failure.
This error is displayed if the normal temperature of the freezer/refrigerator compartment is not detected even after a certain period of time has elapsed since defrosting (ice removal) started.
dH error appears in the display window

Try this

If the drainage hole in the freezer/refrigerator compartment is blocked with ice and water from the ice (frost) does not flow to the drain tray, the normal temperature of the freezer/refrigerator compartment will not be detected so that this error may be displayed.

➔ In such a case, disconnect the power cord of the product, open the freezer/refrigerator compartment door wide and wait for one day in the summer or for three days in the winter for the ice (frost) to melt.

If you are concerned about the food stored inside, it is recommended that you have the product checked by a service technician by requesting a service.

1. If you have a spare refrigerator, move your food into it.

2. Disconnect the power plug of the product.

3. With the freezer/refrigeration compartment door wide open, ice melts in a day in the summer and in three days in the winter.

4. Once the ice has melted completely, water will normally run out to the drain tray.

※ If the same inspection code is repeated, it is necessary to have it checked by a service technician for an accurate diagnosis.

If the ice melts after removing the power cord of the product, it is normally discharged to the water tray
