LG v20 HI-FI DAC AUDIO <script src="/us/lgeai/lgeai-help-lib.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="/us/lgeai/lgeai-help-lib-faq.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

A separate audio chip and amplifier work together to ensure all audio is played at a higher resolution, so you can enjoy high definition audio. The LG v20 not only makes your music sound amazing, it even up-samples most audio – including streams and old MP3s – to Hi-Fi quality.

Note: Only wired headphones connected directly to the mobile device can product high fidelity sound output. Bluetooth headphones are not supported.

If you are not able to turn on the Hi-Fi DAC, check to be sure all connections are fully seated between the headphone, earphone, or speaker.

Turning Hi-Fi DAC ON

From the home screen, select Settings > Sound & Notification tab > Hi-Fi DAC ON

Note: You must have headphones plugged into your device to set to On.

Adjusting the intensity of left and right outputs

  1. From the home screen, select Settings > Sound & Notification tab > Hi-Fi DAC.

  2. Select the decibel level by rotating your finger around the icon.

Decibel is a unit used to measure the intensity of a sound or the power level of an electrical signal.
