What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Impossible to kill I've had all three Cosmos, although I recently upgraded to a G4, and I must say, they are great little robust phones. I've actually attempted to purposely kill this phone on multiple occasions, doing things such as throwing it across the room when I got mad, dropping it countless times, running it in a thermal chamber from -50c to 100c, vibrating it on a vibe table, and it just kept chugging along (Only thing I didn't do was drop it in the toilet). The only real qualms I have are that this phone is way too basic for a 25 year old guy with an active social life, and compared to the first Cosmos, the keyboard is a little lackluster. If you're looking for a good, cheap (Free with plan), simple rugged phone with a full keyboard, this is the phone to have.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Some Problems Good phone except that it cuts out during talk and you can't hear on it some times.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT starter phone I have had this phone for around 2 months now, it has been very useful for me. I have dropped it 3 times and nothing happened, it landed face down and on it's back. There are some very minimal scratches on the screen though. Great 2 in screen has very good clarity. The 4 row QWERTY keyboard I think is the best! The two soft buttons help really good also! Speakers are good and so is the jack. The battery last about 2 and a half days (using internet). The internet is a sketchy software, you can't go on most websites because they are "untrusted". You can play music from the internal memory or the external, but you cannot play or take videos. That bummed me a little but overall I do reccomend this phone. :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unreliable and hard to use The Cosmos 3's blue tooth had a range of about two feet and was unreliable even at that distance--unusable. The buttons are extremely small and hard to use. Returned the phone for a Revere 3 model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great product I have had my phone for over 3 1/2 yrs, and it is just started to physically fall apart. Several of the important key covers have started to fall off (the Clear and End key covers.) In addition, there are several of the letters on the QRTWY keyboard that tend to stick or are difficult to get to type into a word; and have to be repeated to get to respond. This makes sending text messages a bit more difficult. I am going to be reordering a reconditioned one of these phones as my "new phone" for the "new every two years" phone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from We have two of these phones These phones are terrible. We are both dissatisfied with them. We get lots of complaints from callers that the can't hear us. There is a beeping when we are own the line. Can't even take a call in our house with out it disconnecting us. We are not in a blank area for phone service. I took mine back to the service center. They said sorry, you can buy a new one. We are on the no call list. But I get 6-8 calls a day from sales people. This is something we didn't have on our old phones. Makes me wonder if Verizon sold our name on a list. After 20 years with this company. We are very disappointed.
