What People Are Saying

Rated 2 out of 5 by from GLITCHY AFTER 11 MONTHS I bought this phone a year ago and it stops working after 11 months. In August, I was in the middle of texting when all of a sudden there were lines all over the screen. I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in (because the phone doesn't reset when you want it to) but there were still lines. I dismissed them because they were transparent and didn't get in the way of things. A few weeks later my phone started acting really slow. I magically got it to reset, but it was still slow when it turned back on. Okay, great. A month later (early this September) it kept on restarting itself every time I turned it on. It's probably making up all the times it didn't wanna reset. Then just earlier today I was texting and it froze. I took out the battery and put it back in and the touch screen stopped working. It won't reset, the lines are still there, I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in but it still won't let me touch it. Now I have to navigate with the keyboard but I can only do limited things.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Phone does not ring in half the time Phone does not work half the time. I like the keyboard, but sometimes calls do not come through. LG!!! Please give us basic phone users a GOOD PHONE to use!!! Being older and on a fixed budget I cannot afford a smartphone plan. You have to pay TOO MUCH a month for it!! I dont need all those bells and whistles! SO ONCE AGAIN!!!! PLEASE PLEASE!!! Give us basic phone users a phone that works for calling and texting. A better megapixel camera would be good too!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not hold a candle to prior phones Liked design overall. Have hung up on people due to my check touching screen. The worst feature is the speaker system, poor quality is a understatement. I like talking to people but had to move a lot of that to text messaging which is a problem when you are conducting business.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from don't buy this phone this is a very bad phone. I have had this phone for 2 weeks. several times I have received calls from people in answer to calls the phone made but I did not. I have the top of the line wifi in my house but there are rooms that I loose service in just by walking through the house. my old 2006 phone did not have this problem. give me back my old phone. I have tried to reset the speaker volume but I still have to hold it close to my ear to hear. my old 2006 phone I could sit on the desk where I was working & I could hear it plainly. my old phone was also an LG. wish I had never given it up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Design This phone is a really poor design for a few reasons: 1. This phone pocket dials very easily. I made 4 calls in less than 2 minutes yesterday, while it was in my pocket. I tried a protective case but it slides open just enough to by pass the lock button and swipe. Default action seems to be "Redial last call made" 2. The screen blanks after a few seconds of a call (to save battery life), but then you can't get to the on-screen keypad to hang up or to enter voice mail selections. 3. Can't be used in bright sunlight. The screen washes out and it is impossible to use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THIS PHONE IS TERRIBLE I got this phone with good expiations, and I liked it for about 2 months. Then the troubles happened. Overall, there a many problems but here at the top few. First of all, the touch screen is very sensitive. What i mean is that when I leave my phone in my pocket, the touch of cloth will turn it on and before i know it, I've called people many times. Also, I will get (at least a few a week) where the message says "untitled" and then BAM, i lost an important text from my boss. More to this, my messages fill up quick. And when i need to delete I go to delete all messages and it says "messages deleted" but there not. So, my messages compile and I can't even see my one messages anymore. Overall, it had very good potential but the messages bug did it over for me. 1 star

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worst Phone Ever This is the worst phone I have ever dealt with. I always get simple feature phones...Cosmos 1, 2, and 3. Last time around I took this phone because of it's attractive look, touch screen, and larger text display. I could barely make phone call because it is almost impossible to hold the phone without touching one of the several buttons around the sides of the phone. Answering or ignoring calls was a nightmare because I couldn't pick it up without accidentally touching one of the buttons on the side and initiating something I did not want to do. Calls were often ended when my cheek happened to brush the touch screen. I just traded it back for my old Cosmos 3 and I am thrilled to pieces. I know that my phone will never take on a mind of its own like the Extravert does. Skip it!!! It's a horrible design! Go for the Cosmos if you want a quality simple feature phone. It has never let me down.
