What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too Much Dust Great ovens and cooktop. Only complaint is the amount of dust the cooktop seems to attract.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from double ovens i love how easy it is to clean ovens and the burners with the different sizes and the extra warming eye

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had been needing a new range and had no idea i could get a freestanding double oven. This is perfect !!! I love having the option of a large convection oven or having the smaller oven for when i'm not feeding a crowd. The cooktop itself is wonderful with all the different choices in burner size. Best range i have ever had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall an excellent replacement I purchased this as part of a kitchen remodel. I liked the idea of having a double oven, not because I want to use two ovens simultaneously, but because I don't like the idea of heating up an entire large space for small servings. And sometimes a toaster oven just isn't big enough. What took the longest to get used to is the lack of dial controls - everything is touch/digital. As another reviewer has mentioned any crumbs, dust, etc shows up quite distinctly on the surface so I need to keep it wiped down fairly often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great range The double ovens are such a time saver. Both ovens are also very accurate in temperature and are easy to clean. I've never had the infrared heating on the cook top before, so that took some getting used to. But all in all, I really love my new range!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Missing an essential item... I live in my kitchen and having a double oven is incredibly helpful. But when you purchase an oven with so many "bells and whistles" you expect to have standard items that a basic oven has. This oven lacks a timer. You can only use the timer feature IF one of the ovens is on. I was extremely disappointed with this, as I need a timer for items on my stove top too. And since the LG microwave didn't come with a timer either, I had to purchase an old school kitchen timer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Performance We're very happy with the purchase, both ovens and the range all work wonderfully. It's also easy to keep clean, with the glass cooktop and no knobs on the panel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A super great range I love this range, I had to talk my husband into the double oven, I love it already, have decided to cook than go out to eat. I am a diabetic and cooking is always better than eating out. I am so happy with this purchase. After this is paid off, I am going to get the refrigerator...

Do I need special pans/bakeware for the convection oven?

Asked by: GreenMM
Not for the oven. For best results, stainless steel is recommended for the cook top.

Installation width for the LDE3037ST Double Oven

The online "Specification Sheet" found under LG Manuals for the LDE3037ST Double Oven shows two different widths for this Range. The first is called "Cabinet Width" and it is 30 inches. The second (3 lines down) is called "Overall Width" and it is 28 3/16 inches. Which is correct for a snug, custom looking installation. Thank You

Is there a weight limit for pots on stove top

Asked by: DavidLois
I don't see any in the documentation but common sense would go a long way here.

Does this oven have annoying clicking noises when in use?

I have read several customer reviews on the internet that complain about a clicking noise coming from this oven when using the stove top burners. Some say it has to do with the relays. Is this true that this oven has a clicking noise that is annoying? If so why would it have any noise at all? Is that suppose to be normal for ovens? I am considering buying this oven, but don't want to if it has a constant noise while in use.
Asked by: Iweed
It does have a soft clicking noise from the over and burners but it is barely noticeable and is not worst than any other modern range. In fact it is not as loud as the 15 year old Whirlpool that I replaced.

For the range. I have a fish poacher that goes from one burner to the next burner. Is it safe cover 2 burners at the same time.

The manual says not to place a pot that is 1/2 inch bigger than the burner. Can I place the fish poacher over 2 burners? My range and oven is the LG LDE3037ST.
Asked by: Inoke
I don't think that would be recommended. But maybe the recommendation mentioned in the documentation is because of pan damage, not stove top damage.

What is the name of the tune the oven plays when it is done pre-heating?

Asked by: Dadu
I understand it is just something made up by the design people.
