Filter fix
thoroughly cleaned the bottom of the filter area. Large amounts of lint accumulate there causing alot of these problems . Ordering another filter since my original was severely damaged by the twisting of my clothes ! Other sites recommend this as well. Common issue with these dryers.

R-side of lint catcher not flush, ruining clothes
The right side of lint catcher for LG DLE2601W dryer won't sit flush inside opening, so clothes catch on it & rip or become wrapped, stretched out, & ruined. No amount of pushing can force the right side to be flush & not protrude upward.

Lint filter tearing clothes!
Right side wont sit flush, as other users stated. I bought the front loader to help make clothes last longer. The clothes are getting caught on the filter and tearing. There is no saving them. This needs to be taken care of by LG! As a mother of 6 I dont want to keep replacing clothing that didnt need to be.

Poor design lint filter
This is the second lint filter I have purchased for the same problem. The dryer is fine, but the lint filters are ruining my clothes! My clothes get stuck on corner of the filter and rip them

Is there supposed to be a felt washer on the Lint trap filter. that surrounds the outside edge of the lint trap filter? There's just so much getting by the lint trap filter and my machines brand-new.
I apologize, but no; there are no washers of any kind on the lint filter of your dryer.
