What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful and bright inside! Home Depot just installed my new refrig yesterday .Delivery was perfect and as expected. Everything from my old 22 cubic ft side by side transferred with room to spare. My only disappointment was I had to remove a shelf to accommodate taller items like my Britta and 2 wine bottles and OJ containers and gallon of Milk. Didnt work in the door shelves which is what I tried at first. I will have to wait now to buy milk until I completely run out...cuz another gallon will not fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Instructions say to store milk on internal shelves but shelves don't adjust enough to allow tall containers. Back to the door. One of only 3 french door fridges that fit into my 69" space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best choice for a small space Best choice for a smaller space. This refrigerator actually has more room than our old one. It looks stylish and it isn't loud. We don't use the ice maker, thank you for putting it where it doesn't take up freezer space but the bucket holds a lot of smaller items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features except I can't find how to raise freezer temperature from minus 2 to zero.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It is horrible It leaks and there is ice buildup on the platform below the freezer. LG service is clueless. I went on line to find a u-tube video to try to fix the leak. I found one but the suggestion didn't work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Frig for a small space Have been looking to replace a 20 year old frig. I could only fit in a 30" space so most of what I was seeing either was to wide or a small capacity. This LG model fit perfectly making the most use of the space I had. It runs so quietly I hardly hear it. Looks beautiful too in stainless steal. It is nice not to have to bend over to see what is inside. Wish I had bought this model sooner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good 3-door for its size I would have given this 5 stars if the shelf adjusting was a little more user friendly. There are two tiny shelf bins on the bottom of the doors which I have not yet found anything to fit there. The picture online shows milk on the door, but you are not supposed to store milk on the door. We found milk just fits on the top shelf, you cannot adjust the shelves if they are not together, not functional, but I think it is because of its height and the large pull out drawer, which I love. All in all you can store a lot. I do wish the upper drawer in the freezer could extend fully when open and option without the ice maker would have been nice so that the drawer did not have the grooves that it has.

How change temperature

Asked by: Bonni
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. The temperature settings are on loop control. Continue pressing the REFRIGERATOR button until it reaches its lowest setting. Press it again, and the setting should jump to its HIGHEST setting. The same would work for the FREEZER.

What is the dimension from the back of the unit to where the hinges start. I have clearance for the case height up to a certain depth. I need to know the distance from the back of the unit to where the hinges are on the top.

Asked by: DeputyCave64
The covers for the hinges on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 22 cu. ft. Large Capacity 30" Wide 3-Door French Door Refrigerator, Model # LFC22770ST are about 4 inches long. Regrettably, the exact length is not given in the product's specifications. The refrigerator has a depth of 33" to the front of the door which is where the hinge starts and an installation clearance spacing of 1 inch is recommended in the back of the unit so you should have a clearance of 30 inches from the hinges to the back wall. If you have standard upper kitchen cabinets, those will typically have a depth of 12" and the exception is refrigerator cabinets which can be 24" deep and custom built cabinets often being 14" deep so the hinges would not be an obstruction...^IFV

If I were to set the refrigerator temperature to 40°F and the freezer to 0°F, how much would these temperatures vary, assuming that the doors remained closed?

Asked by: Kingfisher500
Regrettably, there is no way to determine how much the set temperatures for both the freezer and refrigerator compartments in the 22 cu. ft. Large Capacity 30" Wide 3-Door French Door Refrigerator will vary even if we were to assume that the doors remain closed because the amount of food stored will affect the temperature variance as will the environment in which the refrigerator is installed. You may get more of a temperature variance in warmer weather than you would in cooler weather, so the external temperature will also be a factor...^IFV

how filter water for ice maker?

Asked by: mlml
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. According to our information, this particular model was not designed with a water filter for any purposes. If a filter is desired, for the ice machine, then a filter will have to be added to the water line before it connects to the water valve of the refrigerator itself.
