How to Disable Energy Saving on Your LG TV

The screen brightness may change depending on the Energy Saving settings. To keep the brightness consistent, you can turn off Energy Saving.

For 2022 WebOS22 and 2021 WebOS 6.0 or later:

  1. Turn on your TV.

  2. Press the Settings button on your TV remote.

  3. Select All Settings.

  4. Go to General.

  5. Select OLED Care.

  6. Choose Device Self Care.

  7. Select Energy Saving Steps.

  8. Set it to Maximum.

  9. Finally, choose Off to disable Energy Saving.

2. Select [General] and then [OLED Care].

5. Select [Energy Saving Step Stage] and set [Maximum] to [Off].

Press the setting button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Picture] → [Energy Saving] → [Maximum] → [Off].

Is Auto Energy Saving turned on?

To keep your screen brightness steady, you should turn off Auto Energy Saving.

How to disable Auto Energy Saving:

  1. Turn on your TV.

  2. Press the Settings button on your remote.

  3. Choose All Settings.

  4. Go to Picture.

  5. Select Energy Saving.

  6. Find Auto and set it to Off.

This will stop the TV from automatically adjusting the brightness.

2. Select [Picture] and then [Energy Saving] and set it to [Off].

Does the screen remain dimmed even after disabling the Energy Saving?

➔ Select [Standard Picture] for [Picture Mode] in the TV Settings mode.

The brightness of the screen varies depending on the mode selected.

Press the setting button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Picture] → [Picture Mode Settings] → [Picture Mode] → [Eco] → [Standard Picture].

※ It is necessary to set the desired picture mode every time there is a change in the input mode,
as the picture mode settings (brightness/quality) may differ depending on the video input (digital broadcasting, HDMI, etc.).
