If your LG TV is not connecting to the internet, first check if other devices, such as a smartphone or laptop, can connect to the same network.
If no devices can connect, the issue is likely with your router or internet service provider (ISP). If the TV is the only device that won't connect, there may be a network settings issue, or your TV may need service.
Additionally, if no network name appears under [Network Connection], please contact LG Customer Support for further assistance.
Why Isn’t My LG TV Connecting to the Internet?
- The router may be turned off, or there may be a temporary outage with your internet service provider (ISP).
- The TV may be too far from the router, or walls and other obstacles may be causing an unstable signal.
- The TV’s network settings may be incorrect, or the Wi-Fi password was entered incorrectly (check uppercase and lowercase letters).
- If your router's name does not appear at all in the TV’s network settings, your TV may need service.
How Do I Fix TV Internet Connection Issues?
Check the Network Using Another Device or a Mobile Hotspot
- Check if other devices, such as a smartphone or laptop, can connect to the same Wi-Fi network. If no devices can connect, try restarting or resetting your router.
- If your TV is the only device that won't connect, turn on your smartphone’s [Mobile Hotspot] and try connecting the TV to it. If it connects successfully to the hotspot, your TV is working properly, and the issue may be related to your internet service provider (ISP) or router.
