What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't read 4k bluray disks It can't read 4k bluray disks. It refuses to downgrade firmware. I'm returning it. A bluray reader that reads one third of my blurays is pretty worthless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine but very noisy I have used this on everything from Cds to Blurays and while it doesn't have the fastest sustained transfer rates it is very steady unlike a lot of drives out there. My only real complaint is that it is very noisy when it is seeking, almost makes you think it is broken. While it is great for just about any pc I would not put this in your media pc. (It's just way to noisy for a dedicated media pc unless you keep the volume maxed.) You can hear this drive over the tv when your trying to keep the volume down and not wake the kids.

Site says (UH12NS40) is compatible with windows 10. When you put a Bluray disk in it, nothing happens. If you put a regular DVD in it works. I have a WH16BS40 LG Bluray drive and it sees the Bluray. Where do i get the firmware to fix the UH12NS40?

I received this for Christmas, and have tried what i can. I does not function with Win 10 at all. Will there be a driver or software release to make this drive compatible or will I have to return the item and purchase another one from another company?
