Great cooktop with lots of space!I love this cooktop! I has so much space, and the ability to select multiple "rings" for different size pots and pans give it so much flexibility. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because every now and then all the control lights will start flashing and the unit will be completely inoperable until you turn off/on the ciruit breaker that controls the cooktop. That is incredibly inconvenient. I'm hoping this is a function of a poor install - as was the case with our LG dishwasher. On the whole, though, I love it!

Sometimes we can hear a light fan noise. Didn't notice it until recently. It goes away when we turn it off. The fan noise comes back again after a few minutes when we turn it back on. Is this an indicator of a problem with the cooktop?

The Child lock was not activated and the stove top would not turn on. We unplugged it and plugged it back in and it started working properly after that. What caused this to lock up?

what size range hood (wall mounted) and cfm for the hood would you recommend for this cooktop?
Asked by: hjsmiling
We appreciate your interest in this cooktop. As we do not manufacture any hoods, we would not have a size to recommend for the cooktop.
