What people are saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great stove when it works We brought the oven 2 years ago and had to get it serviced twice. Very unusual for a brand new range. Additional warranty purchased but very difficult getting a reputable repair technician for repair services. Normally I stand by LG products because of their quality however we have had more issues with this oven than we have ever had with any LG appliances.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Range but disappointed My children bought this range as a christmas present a few years ago. It served me well but about 6 months ag i noticed it aking longer to heat. Then it did not want to reach a temperature of 450 degrees. Of course it would happen at the most inconvenient time, thanksgiving. So its been a few months and i cannot find anyone to fix it. I am more than disappointed. If it werent a guft from my children, i would have found another oven 2 months ago, but here I am...

Why is the front/Right burner no longer stay on?

Asked by: MMMM4321
In your inquiry, you ask why the front right burner on the LG 6.3 cu. ft. Electric Single Oven Range with True Convection and EasyClean®, Model # LRE3194BD no longer stays on which implies that it turns on initially and then cuts off? If the burner lights for a short time but then goes out, you may have a blockage in the gas valve. A complete blockage often prevents the burner from lighting at all. A partial blockage, however, may allow the burner to light but will not provide enough fuel to keep it lit...^Ivan

What is the difference between slide in @ d free standing

Asked by: Puppet girl
Freestanding ranges feature finished sides that allow them to be installed between cabinets or on their own, making them a flexible choice for most kitchens. However, freestanding ranges may not be the best fit for kitchen islands. The main difference between freestanding and slide-in ranges is installation. While freestanding ranges can stand alone or be installed between cabinets, slide-in ranges are specifically designed to sit between cabinets for a seamless look. Because of this, slide-in ranges have unfinished sides that make them ill-suited for standalone installation. The configuration is also different – controls for slide-in ranges are usually located on the top or front of the appliance. Slide-in ranges also lack a backguard, which is why many homeowners install tile behind the range if they are placing it against a wall. Slide-in ranges are not installed directly against a wall, sitting a few inches away from it. Because of this, there is usually a few inches of countertop space that wraps around the back of the cooktop. If you swap out your slide-in range for a freestanding model, you will need to update your countertop configuration to accommodate it. You’ll need to prepare to fill in a two-inch gap (or larger) if you’re trading in a freestanding range for a slide-in model. You’ll also need to update the wall behind your range so it’s immune to steam, water and stains...^IFV

There is no functional purpose for the bright blue interior for the LG 6.3 cu. ft. It is just a style design and the bright blue interior reflects light better...^IFV
