Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this cooktop! We bought a house six years ago with appliances that were 20+years old. We live in a 55+ community so folks don’t do much cooking; however, I love to cook and used my appliances a lot! I thought my old cooktop was fine until I got my new LG cooktop a month ago. Wow! The difference is amazing. It cooks so much quicker and hotter than my other one. I love the dual and triple burners, along with the bridge that allowed me to make gravy in my large roasting pan at Thanksgiving. Easy to clean, gorgeous and efficient. Thanks, LG! I love it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor customer service Bought the cooktop less than 3 months ago and now it doesn’t work. Lg sent someone out and they had no idea how to find the model number much less anything else. Customer service won’t pay for any out of pocket expenses and two different associates had two different stories to tell us. This is not a professional company, but after reading several reviews what should I have expected.

I am trying to figure out the clearance on the bottom, specifically where the deepest part of the cooktop is. The spec sheet says the height is 3.75". Is that only where the plug/conduit comes out? Do you have a photo of the bottom showing the plug?

Asked by: FJ11
All the given dimensions for the LG STUDIO 30” Electric Cooktop, Model # LSCE305ST or for any of our products are taken from the parts that protrude or stick out the most on the product so the given height of 3 3/4" is from the bottom of the cooktop to the cooktop surface. The installation instructions on page 24 of the owner's manual caution that "It is very important to keep 2 3/4” (70 mm) distance between the cooktop and the oven. We do not have any pictures of the bottom of the unit showing where the power cord exits the unit. This unit does not have a plug. It has to be hardwired to a junction box. Page 23 of the owner's manual has illustrated diagrams of the unit with all the dimensions that you may want to review for the installation. The instructions also state to allow 2" (50mm) space below the armored cable opening to clear the electric cable and allow space for the installation of the junction box on the wall at the back of the cooktop. You can download and review or print out a PDF copy of the owner's manual from our site at^IFV

How high to I mount hood over this cook top

Asked by: Dtcr
We appreciate your interest in this cooktop stove. A minimum of 30 inches should be available between the surface and the bottom of the vent hood. Any other measurement, exceeding this spacing, will depend upon the vent hood in use.

What are the best pots & pans that should be used with this cooktop?

Asked by: 206area
The better the pot, the better the cooking results. You can recognize good pots and pans by their bases. The base should be as thick and flat as possible. Cookware must fully contact the surface of the cooking element. Use flat-bottomed pans sized to fit the cooking element and amount of food being prepared. Check for flatness by rotating a ruler across the bottom of the cookware. Pots with aluminum or copper bases can cause metallic discoloring on the ceramic glass surface which is very difficult or impossible to remove. Additional suggestions can be found on pages 8-9 of the owner’s manual.

Can a radiant cook top be totally locked....if so how to unlock

Asked by: Hindu
We appreciate your interest in this CookTop range. According to the information listed on page 11 of the owner’s manual, the LSCE365ST has a CHILD LOCK button located on the right side of the control panel. Press this button and hold it down for 3 seconds to either Activate or Deactivate the controls.
