Mind numbing oven chime that wont turn off
Got this unit a year ago. For the most part I'm very happy with it. PROS: It cooks evenly, looks stunning, and the pull out rack is great. CONS: Takes "forever" to preheat (often 20 min or more) and the chime on the top oven continues to ring every 15 seconds or so even after its done and you have removed your food. It only stops when you press cancel/stop. Don't bother trying to get an answer in the owners manual; there isn't one. I've read the whole thing. Calling Customer Service doesn't help. They put you on hold "Please hold while I look through the manual" only to be told "it can't be turned off."
I have always preferred LG products. I've bragged about them to friends and family. This problem, while it may seem insignificant to others, is making me seriously regret the purchase of this oven. Another CON: The inability to talk to anyone who can help does not endear me to LG right now. Customer Service needs people who can do more than read the owners manual that I have and have read.
This is a MAJOR design flaw if there is no option to turn the chime off.

Does this oven have an internal temperature probe?

I just installed this double wall oven into a brand-new cabinet. There is a gap under the oven. How do I fill the gap? There is a place to screw in a gap filler, but my appliance did not come with one. The gap is about 1/2-3/4".

Is there a requirement on how high Model LWD306ST has to be from the floor?
The installation guide for the LG 9.4 cu. ft. Double Wall Oven, Model # LWD3063BD advises that the minimum cutout location from the floor for the double oven must be 12”. The double oven has to be installed in a cabinet and if the cabinet does not have a solid bottom, two braces or runners must be installed level with the bottom of the cutout to support the weight of the oven...^Ivan

Product does not come with a bottom trim piece? So now I have a small cutout from the previous oven that is available. Is it possible to purchase a trim piece? Installation instructions say that LWD3081ST comes with the trim but this 3063ST does not??

Under'Materials Included', the installation instructions show that a 30" Metal Bottom Trim is included with all of the wall ovens and 3 Screws For

Do the racks have to be removed when self cleaning?
All the oven racks for the LG 9.4 cu. ft. Double Wall Oven, Model # LWD3063ST should be removed before starting the self-clean cycle. Silver-colored oven racks can be self-cleaned, but they will darken, lose their luster, and become hard to slide...^Ivan
