Does this hood block outside cold air from entering the kitchen on a windy day? Do gusty winds cause noise in the hood?

On the Specs tab, the height of this chimney is listed as a variable range. Is this customizable to the inch? Or are there certain 6" (or other) increments that this can be installed at?

The minimum ducted ceiling height for the LG 30'' Wall Mount Chimney Hood, Model # HCED3015S is 89" (7' 5"), the minimum recirculating ceiling height is 93" (7' 9") and the maximum celing height is 118" (9' 10")...^Ivan

Where do I get a chimeney extension? The one that came with the hood is too short.

The LG 36 in. Smart Wall Mount Range Hood in Stainless Steel, Model # HCSD3615S accommodates ceilings up to 9' 6". Included accessories for the hood are a Duct cover bracket, a Duct cover, M6 x 1" (3) screws, M6 x 1-1/2" (2) screws, M4 x 8 (2) screws and Wire Caps (3). Regrettably, there is no available hood extension. ^Nikki

For ductless installation I keep reading about an air diverter plate mounting under the duct covers. What exactly is an "air diverter plate" and, I assume that you don't sell it, where can I buy this and the bracket? Also, do you sell charcoal filters?

The LG 30'' Wall Mount Chimney Hood, Model # HCED3015S can be used in recirculation mode. You will need to secure the air diverter plate onto the wall before installing ductwork and duct covers, and you will also need to install charcoal filters and brackets to use it in recirculating mode...^Ivan

If you are using the hood in recirculating mode, you must secure the air diverter plate onto the wall before installing duct work and duct covers.
