Just bought this dryer and using it for the first time...is there a light in the dryer? I can't seem to locate one...if not, that's pretty terrible...I have never owned a dryer in my entire life that didn't have a light inside the drum so I can see!
Asked by: mbamba
NO! there is no light! I find that very odd as well, wish I wouldve done more research before buying this and the matching washer, I dislike BOTH of them....did your installastion guy tell you not to use dryer sheets? says they get stuck in them yet nothing in the manual...

I just had the dryer delivered yesterday and have used it for two cycles. I've noticed a rhythmic noise as the drum spins that sounds like something is rubbing, perhaps? Others have commented on how quiet the dryer is...

ChrisPSM I have the same issue with ours. LG came to replace the motor and it was OK for a week, but has returned to your description.

My dryer is giving me a np code. The circuit breaker seems to be resetting but I put my old dryer back and it doesn't work at all. I'm thinking that the 1 of the the 2 pole 30 amp 240 breakers might be bad.
Asked by: Glenn0616
If the breaker is not powering either dryer, you may need an electrician to come out and check the breaker.

What are the distances that dryer needs to be away from walls?
Asked by: Jim1962
The following spacing dimensions are recommended for this dryer. This dryer has been tested for clearances of 1 inch (2.5 cm) on the sides and rear. Recommended clearances should be considered for the following reasons:
• Additional clearances should be considered for ease of installation and servicing.
• Additional clearances might be required for wall, door and floor moldings.
• Additional clearances should be considered on all sides of the dryer to reduce noise transfer. For closet installation, with a door, minimum ventilation openings in the top and bottom of the door are required. Louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are acceptable.
• Companion appliance spacing should also be considered.
