Nice big dryer with smart drying
This is our first front loading dryer and that feature alone is amazing. Overall, this dryer was worth the price, with the various settings saving me a lot of time restarting the dryer on thicker or heavier loads. The sensing technology works surprisingly well to increase dry time if needed. This is particularly helpful with heavier items like blankets or thick hoodies and sweatshirts. I've never had a dryer that would actually dry those items in a single run and this dryer does with no issues. I'm very happy with the purchase and happy with all of the LG appliances we have purchased for our new house.

Many features that I do not use.
Only one setting sort of works. I have to wash a (small) load every on the bedding setting .Even then it will show 7 minutes of drying time and a few minutes later it will show 19 minutes left. Soon after it will show 36 minutes. It takes half a day to dry a load of clothes. Towels and sheets end up being damp and I have to hang them to dry. If I try the heavy duty or normal cycle the dryer will run a few minutes, then stop, showing the d95 code. The dryer was installed correctly, the metallic ductwork is not bent or too long and the vent has been cleaned and is lint-free. Would not buy this product again.

Great washer however the dryer.
The dryer after 6 months is making a squeaking noise internally so much so , that the sound can be heard in the other room. Called LG two weeks ago and have heard nothing back other than the very initial generic response.
Shouldn’t have this problem in a machine only a few months old. The machine is not overloaded or abused in anyway.

Often when I dry clothes or sheets one gets hooked on the dryer vent and everything gets wound up into a tight ball. This has ruined some sheets tearing them. The dryer vent does not sit flush with the machine after shutting the door. Any suggestions?

Does this model come with a drying rack?

If the LG Dryer with a capacity of 7.4 cubic feet is the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Electric Dryer with TurboSteam™ and Built-In Intelligence, Model # DLEX4000W, it does not have a "wool" cycle. The downloadable cycle allows you to download a new and specialized drying cycle to the dryer with your smartphone and you would need to refer to the LG ThinQ smartphone application to see which cycles are available for download. Regrettably, the 'wool" cycle is currently not available as a downloadable cycle, but we are always looking to add more downloadable cycles...^Ivan

My dryer doesn't dry clothes well at all. It will wrap clothes and sheets inside each other, tangling them and nothing ever seems to dry.
The reason your clothes are getting tangled and wrapped up in the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Electric Dryer with TurboSteam™ and Built-In Intelligence, Model # DLEX4000W and part of the reason that they are not drying properly is that you are overloading the dryer and have too many clothing items. Dry your sheets separately from your clothes. Your clothing items need room to tumble freely. When you have too many items in the dryer, the clothing items that get pressed up against the sides of the drum will rotate at a slower speed than clothing items in the middle of the drum causing the clothing items to twist and tangle. You should also check to make sure that you clean the lint filter before drying each time and check to make sure that your ducts are not clogged wih lint...^Ivan

After dryer cycle completes and wrinkle care has been activated, what should display look like? Where remaining time usually displays I see basically a dashed rectangle shape with blank in the middle. Is this ok or problem?
