What people are saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought the LG electric ventless dryer 2 months ago and this dryer has not lived up to the quality of other LG appliances! It is not drying at all. Complained to Customer Service and hoped for a quick resolution. As of today’s date there has been promises but no more follow up! Do not buy!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst dryer ever We have nothing good to say. Dryer does not dry-water reservoir drawer get hardly any water in it. Tiny loads take 4 hours to dry. This is the worst. We have had 4 service calls, we got the extended warranty, and they all say it is working as designed. Get a vented dryer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product! I have a compact space and this dryer fits perfectly. The design is clean and simple and really enhances my space. Having a heat pump instead of using conventional drying gives me peace of mind over not having to worry about lint building in the dryer vents. I also love that it's quiet!

Is there a way to set the dryer to a lower level of heat? I need to dry delicate items on a "low" heat setting for a shorter period of time. My LG full-size dryer had the option to set time and heat level.

Does model DLHC1455V come in a gas option?

Asked by: Christopher1639
The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.2 cu.ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Compact Front Load Dryer with Dual Inverter HeatPump™ Technology, Model # DLHC1455V is not available in a gas option. Heat pump dryers use the same technology as your refrigerator, only in reverse: a chemical refrigerant, circulating through a coil, moves heat from the air into the appliance and they are not available as gas models...^Ivan

New DLHC1455 dryer is taking forever to dry our items. We only wash linens. One load took 3.5 hours to dry. Every load we wash, I put in the dryer on the normal cycle (which goes for 1h20 mins) and are wet & hot. Tried many other cycles same results. HELP

Asked by: Babs 101
The Sensor dry cycles for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.2 cu.ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Compact Front Load Dryer with Dual Inverter HeatPump™ Technology, Model # DLHC1455W utilize LG's unique dual sensor system to detect and compare the moisture level in clothes and in the air and adjust the drying time as needed to ensure superior results. The appliance automatically sets the dryness level and temperature at the recommended setting for each cycle, and the estimated time remaining will be shown in the display. Make sure that the lint filter is cleaned before each cycle and that you empty the water container after every use. Not doing so will affect the drying performance. If the condensed water is drained out directly through the optional drain hose, there is no need to empty the water container. Cleaning the lint filter will reduce drying time and energy consumption and prevent unnecessary malfunctions. Proper airflow is critical to the efficient operation of clothes dryers. A lint filter which is full of lint or clogged with fabric softener sheet residue can reduce the airflow to the point that the time required to dry clothing will be greatly increased. If you are using the Normal mode, deselect the Energy Saver mode. The Energy Saver mode reduces energy use but takes longer to dry clothes than the Normal mode. You may also want to reduce the load that you are drying so that your items have enough room to tumble freely. If items are too tightly packed or too sparse the sensor may have trouble reading the dryness level of the load. Use a Timed Dry cycle for very small loads. Large, bulky items such as blankets or comforters can sometimes wrap themselves into a tight ball of fabric. The outside layers will dry and register on the sensors, while the inner core remains damp. When drying a single bulky item, it may help to pause the cycle once or twice and rearrange the item to unwrap and expose any damp areas. To dry a few remaining damp items from a very large load or a few damp spots on a large item after a sensor cycle has completed, empty the lint trap, and then set a Timed Dry cycle to finish drying the item(s)...^Ivan

I work at Bestbuy in Aventura Florida and have a question on dlhc1455w . It has a drain hose . Does that mean it will drain the water instead of having to empty the water bin on the top ? I have a client that bought one and we installed the drain hose but

Asked by: craig 123
Installing a drain hose with the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.2 cu.ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Compact Front Load Dryer with Dual Inverter HeatPump™ Technology, Model # DLHC1455* is optional. Normally, condensed water is pumped up to the water container where water is collected until it can be manually emptied. It may be more convenient to drain water to an external drain, especially when the dryer is stacked on top of its matching washing machine using the connecting T piece to route the drainage...^Ivan
