Does anyone know if the LG talk and text mode works on these earbuds, I have wireless headphones that this feature works great on I was just wondering does it work with these?

I'm new to earbuds. I paired my FN6 with my TV, but I'm having trouble controlling the volume. Tapping on the right or left one seems to work sometimes, others times not. What am I doing wrong?
You are not doing anything wrong. Touching the left earbud twice to decrease the volume and touching the right earbud twice to increase the volume is how you control the volume on the LG TONE Free UVnano FN6 Wireless Earbuds w/ Meridian Audio and it will just take a little time getting used to it since yu are new to earbuds...^IFV

Can I pair these to my Bluetooth laptop? If so how? I currently use a plug in set but would like to be hands free.
Yes Jacqui, you can! First be sure your LG Tones are fully charged. Also Download the App "TONE FREE", Follow the easy steps to connect your LG Tone Free to your computer. That app will allow you to choose an array of settings and devices to connect with! Hope this helps. ^CJ

I would primarily use these to watch TV and movies! How well do they handle "Latency" (audio delay) when people are talking? I would pair these with my LG NANO91 ANA TV and SN10YG Sound Bar. I would mute the Sound Bar for late night TV watching.
The Bluetooth for the LG TONE Free HBS-FN6 Bluetooth® Wireless Stereo Earbuds with UVnano Charging Case and Meridian Audio (Black) is Bluetooth version 5.0 and although the one significant advantage of Bluetooth 5.0 is lower latency than Bluetooth 4.2 or previous versions of Bluetooth. Bluetooth audio will have some latency because Bluetooth audio is compressed for ease of transmission. This means that the signal being transmitted isn’t raw audio. When listening to the audio from the TV, the TV converts the audio into a compressed format, then sends that data to your earbuds. The earbuds unpack the compressed data and playback the audio. When you’re just listening to music, this isn’t a big deal, but the problem arises when you’re watching a movie or video. Your screen will display the video directly from the feed. On the other hand, your earbuds are lagging behind. This means that the audio is not synchronized with the video. Bluetooth 5.0 is a faster technology that doesn’t take as long to compress and decompress as Bluetooth 4.2. This makes it far superior for watching movies or playing video games. That said, the exact audio protocol also has a role to play. The LG NanoCell 81 Series 2020 Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® supports the aptX codec which lowers the latency and is the fastest to compress and decompress audio on the fly, but both devices have to support the aptX codec and since the earbuds do not support the aptX codec, you will not benefit from a lower latency. The other thing you need to keep in mind is that TV's built-in speakers and audio outputs are disabled when streaming audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers...^IFV

Can you answer phone when using tone free buds
When the LG TONE Free HBS-FN6 Bluetooth® Wireless Stereo Earbuds with UVnano Charging Case and Meridian Audio (Black) is paired with your phone, you can make or receive calls on it. If you make a call using a mobile phone, the call is automatically connected to the headset. When you receive a call, you can touch the left or right earbud once. If you touch the left or right earbud once, the current call will go on hold, and you will be able to answer an incoming call. If the previous call is on hold, you can finish the current call on the mobile phone. You can also reject a call by touching and holding the left or right earbud...^IFV

Does the Tone support aptX? If anyone knows. Because my biggest fear in bluetooth headphones is when they have noticeable delay in the sound. I bought a pair not too long ago where watching a video was impossible because of the delay.
