It effectively kills pathogens like bacteria during the powered charging cycle. In just five minutes the speaker mesh is sanitized and the buds have power to go.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but need some improvements disclaimer : I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. These earbuds are good , but before I get to the goods there is one huge con that stops these earbuds from possible being great ! The lg tone free app for iOS does not work , all of the options / functionality for these earbuds can not work due to the app being “broke” . Therefore I have to give these an lowering rating , without the ability to customize the eq and see what these can do they are just basic earbuds . Now for a few of the positive notes for these , they are very comfortable I have worn these for a very long period of time and experienced no discomfort . The audio is very lacking due to being not be able to use the app , the bass is a little lacking and distorted . I am hoping one I am able to access the equalizer I will be able to fix that . The call audio quality is great , I didn’t have any issues with quality or lag . The connection range is about average , I was able to walk away from my earbuds and didn’t have any issues with the Bluetooth connection dropping out till about 60ft . The sanitizing option is a great addition , definitely something that sets these apart from the others .
