What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Blu-ray Very fast and easy to use Blu-ray with beautiful crisp picture and crystal clear sound. Lightweight so I can move it all over the house to any tv I want to use. No hassle to set up. No tangling of cords. Strong signal to connect to tv comes up very fast. I m also in love with the fact I can hook up my usb to view files and can play burned cd dvd disc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought for the advertised apps does not have So says it has Hulu in the apps it does not bought this blue ray player to replace old one and have Hulu on the tv the site says it does have Hulu it does not. Netflix and amazon prime are your two apps ridiculous in today’s electronics to have such terrible description and lack of simple features. I will be returning for sure.

Is there only a single version of the BP175 and are they all region-free? Or is there a different region-free version that uses the same model#?

Asked by: BradK
Hi BradK. Manufacturers of DVD and Blu-ray players and player software are required by their license to include region coding functionality. Any version of the LG Blu-ray Disc™ Player with Streaming Services, Model # BP175 that is intended for the U.S. market and is sold in the U.S. will be region coded for Region 1 for DVD discs and for Region A for Blu-ray DVD discs...^IFV
