ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., April 29, 2025 — LG Electronics USA (LG) today began the rollout of its 2025 QNED evo lineup, beginning with the LG QNED evo 92 TV (QNED92A), LG’s flagship 4K QNED evo model with Dynamic QNED Color Pro and mini-LED backlighting, as well as its first True Wireless QNED model — the QNED evo 9M (QNED9MA). The QNED evo 9M and QNED evo 92 are now available for pre-order at LG.com. Pricing and availability for additional models in the QNED series will be announced at a later date.
LG’s 2025 QNED evo lineup, including the QNED evo 92 and QNED evo 9M, introduces new color solutions powered by wide color gamut technology, featuring LG’s innovative Dynamic QNED Color on the QNED evo 9M and Dynamic QNED Color Pro on the QNED evo 92. Certified by Intertek for achieving 100 percent Color Volume1 these cutting-edge TVs reproduce rich, true-to-life colors in both bright and dark environments, making LG’s new QNED TVs an ideal choice for film enthusiasts and gamers seeking superior visuals.
With enhanced AI capabilities powered by the Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen2, the LG QNED evo 92 offers improved AI performance, delivering better picture and sound. The LG QNED evo 92’s Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen2 also delivers upscaling, analyzing the filmmaker’s intent to reduce picture noise and render faces, objects, text, and backgrounds with greater realism. Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro fine-tunes the HDR effects and brightness for each zone on the screen. Amplifying the audio experience, the TV’s AI features upscale two-channel sound to virtual 9.1.2 channel surround sound. It also distinguishes and clarifies voices by separating them from background noise, making audio sound more natural.
LG is also introducing the QNED evo 9M featuring its True Wireless Video & Audio Transfer technology. This innovation, previously exclusive to the top-tier OLED evo M-Series model, will now be available in the QNED evo lineup. This expansion allows viewers to enjoy high-definition 4K content wirelessly, without compromising on picture quality or experiencing delays, moving beyond the limitations of traditional wired connections. The wireless connectivity solution utilizes a separate Zero Connect Box to transmit high-definition video at up to 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz.2 The TV itself requires only a power cord, allowing versatile placement of gaming consoles and set-top boxes.
