Most shelf space.*

Ice makers are great, but not if it means you can't fit all of your food in the fridge. The Slim SpacePlus® Ice System provides more shelf space and allows even more space for door bins.

What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful refrigerator The refrigerator is beautiful I love it the only thing I do not like about the refrigerator it doesn’t have a lot of places on the side to store your jars bottles and condiments. What they do give you is very narrow and small. I have tried several times to connect to the Wi-Fi on this refrigerator and it is not happening it’s very difficult. Otherwise I love the refrigerator and it’s very big and roomy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new LG Fridge! Bought this about a month ago when our KitchenAid Refrigerator died. Very happy with the size, look, and features of the LG. Love the small door in a door for drinks. Wasnt sure we would use it but we use it frequently!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Far, So Good It's been two weeks since I bought this refrigerator to replace a previous LG fridge that "died" after only 8 years. I believe two weeks is too early to provide a real review, so I will just say that so far, the fridge is working well. Took around 24 hours after delivery for temps to stabilize, but no problems with cooling or freezing at present. Space is huge, plenty of room, and ice maker seems to be making a ton of ice, which is a lot better than previous fridge. Very impressed by the quietness, cannot hear the compressor at all. Cross my fingers this will all continue, four stars for now. Will update review as time goes by, need many more months of fridge working as it should to provide valid review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This refrigerator is awesome! This appliance has more features than we initially realized. We found what we needed but the refrigerator has so much more. I won't go into detail on the specs since anyone can look them up. This appliance overcame so many design flaws in the competitor's model (which had broken down). The design of features are very well thought out. We are glad we settled on this brand and model. So much space, we may never completely fill it, but we will try. It cooled down very quickly on start up. We enjoy the door-in-door and the ability to turn on the light with two knocks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with performance and love the glass door for quick items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the look, quality & features We are very pleased thus far with this refrigerator. It is the first time owning an LG appliance. We are two people and the space inside is more than ample. We love having the glass door for our most used items so we are not constantly opening the larger doors. It is the only water & ice dispenser that we have used that doesn't get all over the door & floor. It looks stunning & contemporary in our newly remodeled kitchen. The only thing I would change if I could was to make the bottom drawer into 2 so you don't need to open both doors to access that space. Otherwise we are thrilled and would recommend this refrigerator.

Where can we buy a water filter bypass module for this model?

Asked by: Leodox
Hello, all of our new models have a built in bypass, so you do not need to purchase one. Just simply do not install a filter. ^AC

The freezer is set to 0 degrees and has been working fine, but now the inside is making frost, does anyone know why this happens?

Asked by: Mlt73
There are two main things that can cause frost building up. 1) Door is opened frequently or for long periods of time. To resolve: When the doors are opened often or for long periods of time, warm, humid air enters the compartment. This raises the temperature and moisture level within the compartment. Increased moisture will lead to frost and condensation. To lessen the effect, reduce the frequency and duration of door openings. 2) Door is not closing properly. To resolve: Check for food packages that are blocking the door area. Check to see if the Ice bin, crisper cover, pans, shelves, door bins, or baskets are out of position. The doors were removed during product installation and not properly replaced. Check to see if the refrigerator is leveled properly. ^CP

What depth is considered "counter depth"? The specs show that the 30796S is considered counter depth ready, this true?

Asked by: RaulJoel
Counter depth is approximately 24" without doors. LFXS30796S would not be considered a counter depth model.

At what temperature Should the freezer be set at

Asked by: leo1097
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. When the unit is first installed, the freezer temperature should be set to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, while the refrigerator should be set to 37 degrees. Once the unit reaches these temperatures, you may change the setting to however you would prefer.

Whenever i go pass my refrigerator, hot air comes out and The sides are hot and bottom are hot, i was wondering if this is normal?

Asked by: Alyiva min
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. The hot air coming from the sides & underneath would be coming from the compressor area. This would be considered normal operation.
