Will the LG sound bars turn on and off with the LG tv using the tv remote? So that you only need to use one remote, instead of two.
Hi there! The LG 3.1.3 ch High Res Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos (S80QY) has its own remote that can only control the sound bar. It will not control our TV. Although, some TV remotes can be programmed to control the volume up and volume down & mute functions on LG Soundbars. The LG Magic Remote may operate more functions on an LG Soundbar. The Universal Remote Control setup on TVs that support that feature will automatically set the feature up when the Soundbar is connected to the TV via HDMI. ^Jolly

The LG S95QR 9.1.5 ch High Res Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos and Surround Speakers (S95QR) has connectivities for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (5.0), Optical Input, HDMI 2.1 (HDCP 2.2) Input, WOWCAST, Wireless Active Subwoofer, LG TV Sound Sync (Optical), USB Host, and HDMI 2.1 (HDCP 2.2) Out. If your record player has compatible connectivity from any of these, it can work. You can also try setting up the Bluetooth of your record player. ^Jolly

Im a console gamer xbox series x or ps5. Does this system work with LG C2 or C3 model, variable refresh rate and console VRR. Cause it says VRR 60hz in small font for console

Are any of your soundboard compatible with the LG 3D 4k LED TVS? I do have the HDMI /ARC input
Hi Randy350z. It's more a question of connectivity more than it is a question about compatibility since all our Soundbars are compatible with any of our TVs, including older LG 3D LED TV models. The most common way for connecting a Soundbar to a TV is connecting the TV's Optical Digital Audio Output to a Soundbar'sOPtical Digital Audio Input. Our Bluetooth-enabled Soundbars can be paired with our Bluetooth-enabled TVsor you can connect our Soundbars that have HDMI ARC or HDMI eARC ports to our TVs that feature HDMI ARC ports or HDMI eARC ports.
The main differences between ARC and eARC lie in bandwidth and speed. The enhanced version of the Audio Return Channel has a much higher bandwidth than its predecessor. Higher bandwidth translates into a higher amount of data that can be transferred (a larger pipe). Higher bandwidth also means that digital audio signal doesn’t have to be compressed and is much more detailed, rich, and vibrant. As a result, with an eARC channel, you can enjoy the depth of movie-theatre-quality surround sound via formats such as DTS:X and DOLBY ATMOS. Due to the limitations of regular ARC, only eARC can currently process these formats. HDMI ARC does not support the Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, or DTS:X soundtracks found on Blu-ray or 4K Blu-ray discs: it will likely only send a 5.1 data stream.
If your TV is HDMI ARC enabled, but your AV amp or soundbar is compatible with HDMI eARC, you'll likely get a sound – but the bandwidth restrictions of ARC will mean you won't be able to experience the high bitrate audio that eARC can provide.
If you want to go beyond the limitations of ARC, you’ll need hardware that supports HDMI eARC. The good news is streaming service apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney Plus encode Dolby Atmos into the lossy Dolby Digital Plus format, which means ARC can handle Dolby Atmos audio from these sources...^Ivan

How good the LG 3.1.3 ch High Res Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos, Model # S80QY will sound with any TV is subjective but the Soundbar supports Dolby Atmos® and DTX:S so it should sound as good as any of our top-tiered Soundbars that also support Dolby Atmos® and DTX:S. Reviews will not be a good measure of how good the soundbar sounds unless the reviewer has the Soundbar installed in a room that is sonically identical and has the exact acoustics to the room in which you will install the Soundbar...^Ivan

It has Upfiring Front Height Speakers and if you want rear speakers, you can pair it with the LG SPQ8-S 2.0 Channel Sound Bar Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. Both the LG S90QY 5.1.3 ch High Res Audio Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos® and Apple Airplay 2 and the LG SP9YA 5.1.2 Channel Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos® & works with Google Assistant and Alexa are compatible with the LG C1 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® series TVs.The difference is that the S90QY is IMAX enhanced, Tidal supported, and it features AI Room Calibration, and it features LG Sound Mode Share. The Surround Sound Speakers for the S90QY are 45W x 2, those for the SP9YA are 40W x 2.The Front Height (Center) Speaker for the S90QY is 40W, and the SP9YA has 50W x 2 Front Height Speakers.An HDMI cable is an included accessory with the S90QY and an Optical cable is an included accessory with the SP9YA. The S90QY supports VRR/ALLM, and it has an HDMI eARC port. The S90QY is a 2022 model and the SP9YA is a 2021 model.
