What is store credit?

We are passionate about providing an exceptional experience for our valued customers. If you encounter issues using an LG product, you may be eligible to receive store credit.

Store credit is LG-exclusive Reward Points that can be used as currency to shop any product available on LG.com. Simply apply your store credit to your payment at purchase. $1 = 100 Reward Points on purchases of any products on LG.com.

Who is eligible to receive store credit?

Any LG customer who is eligible for return authorization is also eligible to receive store credit. To check your eligibility and see if you qualify for store credit, please contact 1-800-243-0000.

How do I receive my store credit?

STEP 1

Contact customer support

If you encounter an issue with an LG product, please contact our customer support team at LG.com or via phone at 1-800-243-0000 to file a report.

Our support team is always happy to assist, and will work to confirm your report and calculate any qualifying store credit.

STEP 2

Fill out Service Credit Form

If your report is deemed eligible for store credit, you will receive a link to our Service Credit Form via SMS text message.

Once you have completed your Service Credit Form in full and submitted it online, our team will take the time to verify your claim.

STEP 3

Shop with your new
store credit

Within 24—48 hours after submission, you will receive email confirmation that your qualifying store credit is ready to use.

How do I use my store credit?

Apply your store credit
to a purchase

When you're ready to use your store credit, make sure you are logged in to your LG.com account. Then, select "Rewards" as your payment method during checkout.

You may view your Store Credit details anytime by navigating to the Rewards tab on MyLG.

FAQs

Q. Does my store credit expire?

A. Yes, store credit will expire 5 years after the issue date.

Q. Can I convert my store credit to cash?

A. No, LG store credit cannot be exchanged for cash and may only be used on LG.com.

Q. What are some products/services that are excluded from the store credit?

A. All products and services available on LG.com are eligible for purchase with store credit, with the exception of subscriptions and third-party services (example: Handy and Premium Care).

Q. I received store credit for my old refrigerator, am I limited to purchasing the same product?

A. Nope. You may use your store credit to purchase any products and services on LG.com.

Q. What is the refund policy for products purchased with MyLG Rewards points?

A. If you cancel or return a purchase made with MyLG Rewards Points, the points will be restored. For partial returns, restoration and refunds follow the original point allocation. See Terms and Conditions of Purchase.

Q. What happens to MyLG Rewards Points if I partially cancel a multi-payment purchase?

A. At the time of purchase, points are applied to the most expensive item first. For partial returns, refunds and points adjust based on the original allocation. See Terms and Conditions of Purchase.

Q. I completed the return authorization form, when will I receive the store credit?

A. Please allow 24—48 hours for verification. You will receive a confirmation email when your credit is ready to be used.

Q. Can I use the store credit to other dealers to purchase?

A. LG store credit is only eligible to be used on products and services from LG.com.

Q. Can I use the store credit along with other promotions?

A. Yes. Since store credit functions as Reward Points for LG.com, you can use it with other promotions. Simply apply your credit to your payment at checkout.
