How to pair the Magic Remote
Turn on the TV and wait about 20 seconds. Point the remote at the TV and press the scroll wheel button.
The remote will pair automatically, and you’ll see a confirmation message on the screen.
Having Trouble? Unpair and re-pair the Magic Remote

If your remote isn’t working properly, press and hold the BACK[
] and SETTINGS [
] buttons together for at least 5 seconds.
The LED light on the remote will blink, and the remote will unpair from the TV. When the unpairing message appears on the screen, press the scroll wheel (OK) button to pair the remote again.

- For models released in 2021 and 2025: Keep the remote pointed at the TV and press and hold the HOME[

How to fix voice recognition issues on your Magic Remote
- Make sure that your TV is connected to the internet, that you're signed in to your LG account, and that you've agreed to the voice recognition terms of use.
- Check that your menu language is set to the official language of your region.
- If the menu language doesn't match your region's official language, some features may be limited.
- Press and hold the [AI] or [Mic (Voice Recognition)] button on the remote, say your keyword, then release the button when you're done.
- For best results, hold the remote about 10 cm (4 inches) from your mouth and speak slowly and clearly at a normal volume.
