HDMI cables have a CEC function, enabling power control between products.
e.g.) When you turn off or turn on the TV, the device connected to the TV with an HDMI cable is also turned off or turned on.
[2021 WebOS6.0] Press the button on the remote control and select [All Settings] → [General] → [Devices] → [HDMI Settings] → [SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC)] → [ON]
[2019 WebOS4.5] Press on the remote control and select [All Settings] → [Connection] → [HDMI Device Connection Settings] → [SIMPLINK(HDMI-CEC)] → [ON].
[2018 WebOS4.0] before Press the button on the remote control → [All Settings] → [General] → [SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC)] → [Auto Power Sync] →[ON]

Setting the [Auto Power] function from the Settings menu

1. Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on the remote control.
From [Settings], select [All Settings].
2. From [General], select [Devices].
3. Select [HDMI Settings].
4. Set the [SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC)] to ON.
※ For WebOS6.0 and later versions, there is no separate SIMPLINK(HDMI-CEC), and if you set SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC) to ON, it can control external devices.

1. Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on the remote control.
From [Settings], select [All Settings].
2. From [Connection], select [Device Connection Settings].
3. From [Device Connection Settings], change the setting of [SIMPLINK(HDMI-CEC)] to ON.
