  • Welcome to the LG customer support channel.

  • This video will provide you with information on how to use smart diagnosis from your smart refrigerator.

  • Your smart refrigerator has the smart diagnosis feature which has the capability of transmitting and troubleshooting information through audible or Wi-Fi diagnosis.

  • Follow along in this video to learn the 4 different ways you can diagnose your refrigerator, using a refrigerator and or your smartphone app.

  • For Self-Audible diagnosing using your smart phone, open the settings on the bottom right corner of the home screen and select the smart diagnosis option on the left side of the screen.

  • Press the Audible Diagnosis button, and then Self Diagnose using your smartphone.

  • Now open your LG smart refrigerator app from your smart phone, if you need help getting the app check out our video LG smart refrigerator smartphone app.

  • From the smart phone app, select smart diagnosis and then audible diagnosis.

  • When you are ready to start the diagnosis, open the right door of your refrigerator.

  • press the record button on the smart phone app to begin recording, and hold the mouthpiece of the smartphone in front of the speaker hole next to the smart diagnosis logo located at the top right of the refrigerator.

  • While holding the phone up, press the start button from the refrigerator display.

  • When the diagnosis is complete, the results will be displayed on your smartphone.

  • For audible diagnosing through the LG call center, call the call center at the number shown on the display and follow the agent instructions to receive your diagnosis results.

  • For Wi-Fi diagnosing from your refrigerator, open the settings on the bottom right corner of the home screen and select the smart diagnosis option on the left side of the screen.

  • Press the Wi-Fi diagnosis button and start when you are ready.

  • When it is completed, call the LG call center at the number shown on the display to get your diagnosis results.

  • For Wi-Fi diagnosing using your smart phone, open the smart diagnosis function from your smart phone and select Wi-Fi diagnosis.

  • Diagnosis result will then show up on your smartphone once it is completed.
