Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great TV but with some caveats Overall the picture is amazing. Honestly very comparable to OLED for a fraction of the price. What that being said, there are a few issues. Notably, when using a gaming system such as Xbox Series X, there is a significant delay in Atmos audio transmission that cannot be fixed. This is a known issue with many LG TVs. Ultimately this was corrected by purchasing a soundbar with HDMI 2.1 and plugging directly into that. Otherwise, the TV performs well.

Tuner spec says "ATSC" QUAM.  Does this mean the tuner is capable of receiving both ATSC 1.0 and 3.0? QUAM being used in some cable applications.

I believe you meant "QAM" and not "QUAM"? QAM is short for "Quadrature Amplitude Modulation" which is used to receive digital channels from a cable TV provider without the use of a cable box. The ATSC is used to receive digital channels over the air. The LG NanoCell 90 Series 2020 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65NANO90UNA has three built-in tuners, an ATSC tuner, an NTSC tuner, and a QAM tuner. ATSC 1.0 is the current ATSC tuner that is being used by TV Broadcast Stations and ATSC 3.0 (NextGen TV) is expected to launch by mid-2021. ATSC 3.0 is not backward compatible with ATSC 1.0. In 2019, the ATSC estimated that more than 60 “first markets”—including the top 40 markets—would deploy NextGen TV standard to its viewers by the end of 2020. The organization has since revised its estimate of that deadline to mid-2021 due to the pandemic. (updated Oct. 27, 2020). Only select LG 2019 and select 2020 LG OLEDS support the NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0) and have the hardware to support it built into the TVs, however, there is a software update required in order to active the NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0), which will be automatically pushed out by mid-2021 as mentioned above, and you will need to check with your local networks to determine when they will begin any NEXTGEN services as well since this will also be a staged rollout. The OLED65CXPUA does not have the hardware to support the NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0) built into it...^IFV

Would you still need a Apple Box to stream TV packages like “Philo” on the LG 65” Nano 90 Series TV

The LG NanoCell 90 Series 2020 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65NANO90UNA comes with preinstalled apps and additional compatible apps can be downloaded and installed on the TV through the LG Content Store feature in the TV's home screen.'Philo' is not a compatible app that can be downloaded and installed on the TV so if you want to stream the app you will need a media streaming device like Apple TV, Roku, Google Chromecast, or Amazon Fire Stick is they have the app available on them. Our webOS platform offers over 600 apps including the LG Channels app which offers over 180 free streaming channels. Can my 93 year old mother use headphones while we watch TV and use our sound bar?

The LG NanoCell 90 Series 2020 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65NANO90UNA is compatible with most Bluetooth Headphones. The TV's built-in speakers and audio outputs are disabled when streaming audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers, so will not be able to use your Soundbar at the same time with Bluetooth Headphones...^IFV

TruMotion is LG's name for motion interpolation which is a feature that increases a video's frame rate by injecting frames in between the frames of a video signal to make the motion less jerky...^IFV
