Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifelike Quality! My husband has looked at and talked about this tv for over a year. We seriously looked at it Christmas 2020. With everything going on, we didn't purchase it. A year later, he was still longing for it. So, I bought it for him. It has beautiful color and great screen quality. It is like being in the program with the actors or ball players. He has enjoyed football season and is truly looking forward to baseball season! Highly recommend this tv to others.

How can you determine if one of these is a Nano 8 or Nano 9 TV?

The numbers and letters in the model numbers for the TVs tell you whether they are LG Nano 8 Series 4K Class Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® or LG Nano 9 Series 4K 75 Class Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® TVs. The "S" in the model number identifies the TV as a NanoCell TV and the series number indicates if it is a Nano 8 series or Nano 9 series. For example, Model # 75SM9070PUA is a Nano 9 series (i.e. 9070PUA) and SM8670PUA is a Nano 8 series (i.e. 8670PUA)...^IFV

How many dimming zones are there total? What is the peak brightness in Nits?

Asked by: beshaf84

The maximum luminosity of the TV will vary depending on what percentage of the screen a bright scene covers. A 100% window test measures the maximum brightness of a white rectangle displayed on the entirety of the TV’s screen. Winter sports, advertisements that use a lot of bright colors, and some cartoons, are about the only media you’ll find that approach this level of brightness...^IFV
