Defective power board
From the moment I first set it up it took 4 presses of the power button to turn it on. After doing some research I found that every LG G2 83" TV has a defective power board that needs to be replaced. Disappointed to see this defect in a such expensive premium model tv.

Beautiful Oled but powering it is annoying.
I had this 83” G2 for about 6 months now. Everything about this TV is awesome. However turning in on is really annoying. I thought it was a glitch the first week i had it. I always have to double click the power button to turn on the TV. Some times i have to wait 10 secs to turn the tv on. I figure maybe a software update will fix the problem. So i waited for a couple of the updates to go through. Problem was never fixed. Read on the blogs that it was a hardware issue. So i finally gave in and had LG send a tech to replace the power board today. I never feel comfortable opening up a 6k TV but to make it right it had to be done.
Tech replaced the board with another board. Looked the same to me. Put everything back together and made sure the screen turned on. Everything worked. Mounted the TV back on the wall and put everything neatly back together only to find out a couple hours later that powering the TV had the same issue. But this time it was even more persistent. Instead of waiting a couple hours to double click the powering switch it happens all the time now which makes it even more annoying turning the tv on. Gotta wait 10 secs after the first click to power the second time. At this point i’m beyond frustrated as it take a long time for me and my family to put the entertainment room with this Tv back together. Plus i had to take time out from busy schedule to fix this. Not just mine but my wife as well since this is a 83” screen. I never had issues with the last 10 TVs I’ve owned.
LG. I hope you can make this right by replacing the TV as i don’t feel comfortable opening this new TV again the second time. The more you open up the TV the worse it gets.

What is the VESA pattern.. can an Articulating mount be used?

Can you tell me how high the TV mount on the LG 77" G2 tv is from the bottom of the tv to the center of the mount? And what is the measurement from the top of the tv to the center of the mount?
Regrettably, we do not have specifications for how high the mount (Model # WB22EGA) for the LG G2 77-inch OLED evo Gallery Edition TV w/AI ThinQ, Model # OLED77G2PUA is from the of the TV to the center of the mount or the top of the TV to the center of the mount. We only have CAD drawings that show the measurement of the top row of VESA Mount bolt holes for the mount on the TV. The top row of bolt holes is 8.465" (215 mm) from the top of the panel and 29.96" (761 mm) from the bottom of the panel. The left and right columns of VESA Mount bolt holes are 30.16" (766 mm) from the sides of the panel....^Ivan

The LG G2 77-inch OLED evo Gallery Edition TV w/AI ThinQ, Model # OLED77G2PUA has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 which is an Aspect Ratio of 16:9 and 1920 x 1080 is also an Aspect Ratio of 16:9 so when you play video content with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 on the TV, it will fill the whole screen. The TV has a built-in 4K scaler that will upscale (upconvert) any video signal with a lower resolution than its native resolution it receives up to its native resolution or as close as it can get that signal to its native resolution depending on how much data is in the video signal...^Ivan
