Clothes come out smelling clean!
Purchased the washer tower to replace a stacked washer and dryer. Couldn’t be happier. Clothing comes out actually smelling clean! For my 5’4” frame, having the controls in the middle of the two machines is perfect! I also love that the LG app expands the features for both the washer and dryer. The only downside is my old washer had a feature that would keep the clothes fresh after the cycle had finished. This washing machine only allows you to select the fresh care in the app, not on the machine itself which is very inconvenient.

How long is the normal wash cycle?
The cycle time for the normal cycle on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG Single Unit Front Load LG WashTower™ with Center Control™ 4.5 cu. ft. Washer and 7.4 cu. ft. Gas Dryer, Model # WKGX201HBA will depend on several external factors (load size, room temperature, incoming water temperature, etc.) When you select the normal cycle or any other cycle, the default time for that cycle is displayed. This time will change as modifiers or options are selected. f the display shows -I--, then the time will be displayed after the load sensing has detected the load size. he time shown is only an estimate. This time is based on normal operating conditions. Several external factors (load size, room temperature, incoming water temperature, etc.) can affect the actual time. Once the Start/Pause button is pressed, the washer will measure the size of the load. The estimated time may change once the load size has been measured...^Ivan

What is the dryer vent height on the back of the wash tower?
Regrettably, our specifications for the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG Single Unit Front Load LG WashTower™ with Center Control™ 4.5 cu. ft. Washer and 7.4 cu. ft. Gas Dryer, Model # WKGX201HBA do not list a measurement for the height of the vent duct on the back of the unit. Measured to the center of the dryer exhaust,it should be about 42 3/4"give or take an inch or two from the floor. If you need an accuratemeasurement, please contact our Customer Support Center, (800) 243-0000 to see if they have access to a CAD drawing that might show the measurement...^Ivan

Can a wash cycle and a dryer cycle be used simultaneously? (Meaning…. Can you do a load of wash AND a load to dry at the same time?) Or is it one or the other when in use?

HOW DO I USE THE STEAM CYCLE TO GET RID OF SOME WRINKLES IN MY CLOTHES
The dryer for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG Single Unit Front Load LG WashTower™ with Center Control™ 4.5 cu. ft. Washer and 7.4 cu. ft. Gas Dryer, Model # WKGX201HWA has a Steam option that can be added to a dry cycle that helps to reduce wrinkles and odor in fabrics. It also features a Steam Fresh option that uses the power of steam to quickly reduce wrinkles and odors in fabrics and rings new life to wrinkled clothes that have been stored for an extended time and makes heavily wrinkled clothes easier to iron. Please refer to the instructions under Steam Fresh in your owner's manual for the unit for how to use the steam fresh option which can be found under 'Options and Extra Functions'...^Ivan
