    Works fine
    For me it works fine. Haven't noticed any problems so far by this year. My system is Windows 8.1 64bit if this matters.

    Great value for a solid drive
    Product works as advertised. No issues reading or burning disks. I subtracted 1 star because it is very loud in comparison to other drives that I have used, but for the price I would still recommend it.

    Great Drive!
    This drive was very affordable and it was super easy to install and it has caused me no problems. It turned on and worked perfect on the first try. I know that might seem trivial & obvious, but think about how many things in life Don't Work on the first try, Never work like they should or just plain Don't Work.     LG wins me Over AGAIN..!
    So easy to install that your up and running in under five minutes.! multiple drive speeds for reading and writing make it mistake proof.! very good looking piece of hardware to complement the rest of your system, and so easy to use with drag and drop burn capabilities.! I'm so loving my LG products.! Of which I own many, Big screen TVs, DVD players, Mobile Phone, and Computer drives.! Good Job LG..!!.Looks like I'll be with you for along time to come. Jason

    This product has good features but...
    I have had this unit for seven months now and it now does not eject its' tray. All it does is flash. I am uncertain what the problem could be other than the motor of the drive.

    Love the looks of this unit
    I have had this unit since Christmas and it is very fast and very quite. The software was very easy to install. I have burned numerous cds and have not had a bad disk. I highly recommend this product

    Really good performance
    I bought this from an ebay seller and it was shipped promptly and was undamaged. But when installing it in my pc I noticed a small piece of plastic on the floor. Then I realized it was part of the sata connection. I don't know if it was a manufacturing defect or my clumsy attempt to connect the cable. I have super glued back on and waiting a day to see if it took. I will let you know.

    Great buy if you know what you are doing
    This unit is excellent. It does all of the important things an optical drive should. Sure it doesn't do Light-scribe, but really who can say those labels are nothing more than meh. Dual layer, three D blu-ray and M-disc for this price? For me the only minor gripe is how noisy it is when I boot up my system and when a disk loads. Sure it is OEM and comes with nothing, but it does play cds and dvds out of the box. For blu-ray just do a search for software on the net and you will be golden.     Great Blu-Ray Drive
    I Bought this drive with another LG Drive after the two that were purchased for the computer, would not install and gave nothing but problems. i wont give names i am not here to complain about others. I am here to say that this drive and the other LG drive i bought installed easy. i did nothing more than plug them in and turn the computer on. They worked on the first try.
