[LG TV Smartphone Connection] Seeking to trigger DLNA with the content from your Android smartphone?

Troubleshooting

I want to stream my smartphone screens (Android) through DLNA.

The smartphone and smart TV must be connected to the same wired/wireless router.

Try this

Streaming Android smartphone screens via DLNA

Set the Wi-Fi network.

1) Go to [Settings] or [Preferences] on your smartphone.

2) Tap [Wireless and Network].

3) Open [Wi-Fi Settings] and select the [Wi-Fi] checkbox.

4) The [Wi-Fi Network] list appears on the screen. Select the wired/wireless router to which your TV is connected to.

Run the DLNA app.

1) Run the [Media Sharing] app.

2) Smartphone: You can stream content on your smartphone to your TV screen. (Smartphone ↔ TV)
Other devices: You can select content from a shared server to stream to your TV. (Smartphone ↔ Content server ↔ TV)

3) Tap an option to run it.

Smartphone (DMS, DMC) → TV (DMR)

1) Tap [Share My Smartphone] to run it.
(Make sure your smartphone has content to stream.)

2) Select a content type to use among [Music], [Video], and [Photo].

3) Select a file you wish to play from the list.

4) Tap the [Menu] button at the bottom of your smartphone screen.

5) Tap [Remote Playback Device].

6) Select the checkbox of a TV model you wish to use from the [Select Remote Playback Device] list.

7) Tap the [Play (▶)] button.

8) After a control motion, the content starts to play on your TV screen.
