[LG LED / LCD] A software update notification appears

Troubleshooting

The software update notification for a TV appears when the TV is connected to the network, the Auto Update function is turned off, and there is a new software update.

Note
If you set Auto Update to [Off], an update notification appears when there is a new software update. You can select whether to update the software using the TV remote.
If you set Auto Update to [On], an update is automatically performed when there is a new software update. In this case, an update notification does not appear.
