LG Refrigerator - door pops open and closes when I open and close the other door

Operation

Shall we take a closer look?

●It is perfectly normal for the other door to open and close because it is caused by the air pressure inside the refrigerator.

Between the freezer and refrigerator, there is a path for cold air to travel.
When one door is opened and closed, the outside air and the pressure inside the fridge are pushed to the other side and this can push the other door to open up a little and close back.

Try this

●Does the door closes properly after it was pushed open?

→ It is perfectly normal for the door to get pushed open a little because it is caused by the air pressure inside the refrigerator (air circulation).
If the door is popping open due to the air pressure, you can rest assured at it’s not a product defect.

●The door does not close properly after it was pushed open?

Check if you have stored large containers near the door. Move those containers further inside and check if the door closes properly.
Check if the containers stored on the door basket are sticking out preventing the door from closing properly.
If you have cleaned the refrigerator recently, check if the shelves and baskets are assembled properly.
Check if a dust cover or an object placed on top of the refrigerator is caught in the door.
Check if the door seal (gasket) has stains. Use steamed towel to remove the stains.
Check if the door seal is properly attached. Run your fingers to see if there is any part that is popping out or sagging. Press and insert back the seal into its groove.
