What people are saying
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The A/C quickly cools our bedroom regardless of how warm it is. We like the oscillating feature but it can only be activated with the remote. When using the remote to turn on the oscillating feature the fan speed changes from high to low requiring a second step to reset the speed to high. The remote screen and buttons are difficult to read. The drawbacks are more than offset by the quick cooling action.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The A/C I bought is satisfactory. Works as described. However it would be nice if a drain hose was included. Also the directions for hooking the drain could be more explicit.

I am going to buy this unit, but need to know the size specs for the window vent panel. I see that is can go to 50" in length...what is the width of the panel??. My window is 55" in length. Manual does not have vent spec nor does your website

The window vent panel (Panel A) that is supplied with the LG 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP1217GSR is an 18" panel. The other supplied panels are Panel B which is a 9" panel, Panel C and Panel D which are 17" panels. To cover a window opening from 35" to 50", you would need to use a combination of Panel A, Panel C, and Panel D. Panel A and Panel D are designed to slide into either end of Panel C...^IFV

What is the capacity of the water tank in this unit? I am worried about being able to empty it as the unit is already very heavy. I could not find info on drainage in the manual. Only bought and set up today but live in humid place so want to check.

Asked by: OttawaDweller
Hello, the information can be found on page 24 under section "EMPTYING THE WATER COLLECTION TANK" The unit can hold up to 2 pints of water but can have a hose connected. ^AC

At times the Air coming out is extremely crisp and cool! But randomly the air just blows out not so cold. It's random, I've taken the weather heat into consideration. No correlation. It really is useless when it just blowing not so cool air. Help!
