I bought this a few weeks ago. Comes with everything you need. Haven't used it much yet and it works when I need it. The louvers opening and closing is a bit weird.

Air conditioning stopped working after 2 months.
I bought this last summer and used it for the tail end of the season. I plugged it back in to use this year and it had stopped working/blowing cool air. It was such a pain to have a replacement shipped and then they didn’t even call to schedule a time and just shipped it to my address when I was on vacation. It was a nightmare all around but I’m happy to have it replaced and hopefully this one will provide more use than the original

Is there a way to keep the fan on high setting? I’m using the unit in cool mode most of the time, but once the room reaches the lower temperature, and the compressor shuts off, the fan goes to a low speed, until the compressor kicks back on to cool.
You would either have to toggle between the fan setting or the cool setting. You wouldn't be able to set the fan to automatically come on after the room reaches the desired set temperature. You can, however, change the fan speed while the compressor is running. ^Chris

how is the drain tank remove?
Hi there! Are asking about the collection tank? If you are, here are the steps on how to empty the tank:
When the internal water collection tank is full,
the LED display will show FL and the air
conditioner will turn off until the tank is emptied.
• Unplug the air conditioner, disconnect the exhaust hose from the back, and move the air conditioner to a suitable drain location or outdoors. You may also place a pan under the drain that will hold up to 2 pints of water.
• Remove the drain cap from the bottom drain outlet.
• Once the water collection tank is drained, reinstall the drain cap, making sure it is on securely.
• Place the air conditioner in the desired location, reconnect the exhaust hose, and plug in the air conditioner.

Does it require a hose to drain?
The LG 7,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP0721WSR only requires a drain hose when you run it in DRY (Dehumidifying) mode where you can install a 1/2" (12.7 mm) inside diameter garden hose (not provided) into the continuous drain port and place the open end of the hose over a floor drain or bucket, or attach the drain hose, insert the connector into the pump drain port at the back of the unit until it snaps into place for outdoor drainage. Inserting the drain hose in the unit will automatically activate the drain function...^Ivan

Using conditioner and it gets full and is flashing FL every couple of hours and then I manually drain. The guide says the tank size should be able to last much longer. Any reason this might be happening? Excessive leaking is also a problem im having.
it does not have a significant revisor for very humid climate you will need to continuously drain in high humidity

I cleaned the filters on the unit and it still proceeds to show a red light indicating that it still needs to be cleaned. What do I need to do to fix this?
As instructed in the Operation section on page 20 of your owner's manual for the LG 7,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP0721WSR under the 8th bullet 'Clean Filter', "The Clean Filter LED lights up to notify you that the filter needs to be cleaned. After cleaning the filter, press and hold the ∨ button on the control panel for 3 seconds to turn off the Clean Filter light."

7,000 Portable A/C Is it normal for it to shut off in the middle of the night and then come back on later? How much water comes out of the top drain. Wondering if there is water I cannot drain causing this problem?
Yes, it is normal for the LG 7,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP0721WSR to shut off when it reaches the set temperature and then come back on later. Condensation can build up inside the unit
when the Cool and Dry modes are used. The fan can be set to run for a short period after the product is turned off to help keep the inside of the appliance dry. This option is off by default. You can turn the condensation fan on by setting the air conditioner to cool mode after you turn it on and let it run for at least 10 seconds. Then you can press and hold the Mode and Fan Speed buttons on the control panel for 3 seconds until On appears on the display. The condensation fan is now turned on. When the appliance is turned off, Co appears in the display and the fan will continue to run for 10 minutes. The
appliance will then shut down as normal. When the internal water collection tank is full, the LED display will show FL and the air conditioner will turn off until the tank is emptied..^Ivan
