We have a bedroom that’s on the 2nd floor that we shut the heat off in the winter and this will be perfect for us to maintain the desired temp all year .. the bonus is the “dry” feature that works really well!along with the WiFi feature for setting the temp remotely prior to arriving home We highly recommend this unit for anyone that’s limited on window space and for multi temp needs .

You can even configure it with Google Home. Plus, it has 4 functions: heat, cold, fan, and de-humidifier. What more can you ask for? It comes with everything you need and everything is high quality!

In cooling mode, does the the fan stay on constantly or turn off when it reaches the programmed temperature? I see that there is an auto setting for the directional vents but is that the setting for the fan to be constant in cooling mode? Thank you!

When the LG 10,000 BTU Smart Wi-Fi Portable Air Conditioner, Cooling & Heating, Model # LP1021BHSM runs in Cool Mode, the compressor runs and cools the room and you can use the ∧/∨ and Fan Speed buttons to set the desired temperature and fan speed. The fan and the compressor do not turn off when the unit reaches the set temperature. The Auto Swing function automatically moves the louvers to adjust the direction of the airflow, and you can press the Auto Swing button repeatedly to select your desired direction...^Ivan

Trying to get a unit that will only be on for about 3-4 hours at a time, like 5-9am, most days. Can you set the timer function to automatically do this, or is this only achievable with the Smart feature, like with setting a weekly schedule?

The unit has a Delay ON timer whereby when the air conditioner is off, set it to automatically turn on from 1 to 24 hours later, at its previous mode and fan settings. Delay OFF - When the air conditioner is on, set it to automatically turn off from 1 to 24 hours later. There is not a timer that will automatically turn the unit on as desired. ^Daphane

How do i start draining it for heat mode?

Please review the instructions on page 16 in your owner's manual for the LG 10,000 BTU Smart Wi-Fi Portable Air Conditioner, Cooling & Heating, Model # LP1021BHSM that have illustrated diagrams and a description of how to insert the connector of the drain hose into the pump drain port on the back of the unit for indoor draining...^Ivan

Is there a way to set the unit for continuous operation rather than a timer?

The Timer for the LG 10,000 BTU Smart Wi-Fi Portable Air Conditioner, Cooling & Heating, Model # LP1021BHSM is only for when you want to set the air conditioner to automatically turn on from 1 to 24 hours later, at its previous mode and fan settings when it is off or to set it to automatically turn off from 1 to 24 hours later, at its previous mode and fan settings when it is on. If you want it to run continuously then don't use the Timer...^ivan
