Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of garbage OWe've already had to have one part fixed because it wouldn't start, and we had to wait weeks because hardly anyone works on these. That was less than six months ago. Now it won't start all AGAIN and there isn't even an error code just three flashing hyphens ( - - - ). The last time it didn't work, I tried to use the diagnostic tool, it seemed to be incompatible with my iPhone. I haven't even bothered tonight because I'm late and I'm tired. And I'm really disappointed. I spent a lot of money because I thought I was investing in a product that would be problem-free for years and years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Getting Very Frustrated Ok so maybe poor isn't the best choice for this, but after 2 and a half years of running flawlessly the dishwasher has now become somewhat of a nightmare and joke. The dishwasher threw a FE error code in January 2019, could not get the error code to clear so we had it repaired. 2 weeks later it stopped washing properly, called the repair place again. this time they had to diagnose the issue first, then order parts. Parts came in, repair guy starts doing the repair, can't finish because he needs another part. At this point we are now in at the beginning of March. New parts again show up, repair guy was here yesterday. replaced the sump pump, the main board, and another part that i can't think of. Ran the dish washer last night and low and behold another error code (nE) shows up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cleans well when it's not broken Our dishwasher is only three years old and we have had to fix it three times already. We like it when it's working--it cleans well and dries exceptionally well, but we will be buying a new, non-LG dishwasher just to avoid future errors. Our new LG oven is also already having errors.

Why aren't my dishes getting clean? I've cleaned all the spray arms, added my rinse aid, and ran a cycle with a cup of vinegar in the bottom rack. The top rack is especially a problem.

If I accidentally stop the dishwasher, can I restart it somehow with the current amount of wash time left?

My dishes are gritty after the cycle is complete. The troubleshooting tips said to clean my filter. I tried to clean the gunk out of the filter that I could get to, but most of it is inaccessible. What should I do?

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dishwasher. It is suggested to run a wash cycle that is empty other than a cup of vinegar. This should help with any buildup which might be present in the dishwasher.

My dishes aren't clean and the soap dispenser door is open at the end of cycle but the soap remains in the cup. I used a normal cycle.

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dishwasher. It is recommended to check the incoming HOT water temperature, to make sure it is a minimum of 120 degrees Fahrenheit. This must be in order to activate the detergent properly. If this does not resolve the matter, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to troubleshoot the matter further.

Can I have the End cycle notification remain on until I open the dishwasher?  Otherwise, it is impossible for people to know if the dishwasher is clean or dirty.

I apologize, but no; according to page 10 of your owner’s manual, a chime will sound and the display will show “END” when the cycle is complete. After a short time, the display and controls will shut off for safety and energy conservation.
