I was going back and forth between this and another one that had a lower decibel rating, but was more expensive. Outfitting a brand new kitchen, and were I to do it again I think I would have paid the extra. I expected it to be quieter from the reviews I read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very, very quiet Bought this to replace a portable that had outlived its life. Wiring, plumbing and supply lines pretty much straight forward and easy to follow. Unfortunately I can't get the wi-fi feature to connect for some reason. My daughter works from home and this is so quiet that her clients don't hear it running and it doesn't impair her ability to hear on the phone.

How many gallons of water is used in each normal wash?

Is the model dishwasher LDFN454HT wifi enabled? Have not been able to turn on wifi to add to my network with my iPhone

The LG Front Control Dishwasher with QuadWash™, Model # LDFN454HT is not a Wi-Fi-enabled dishwasher. It has an NFC Tag On smart feature that can only be used with most smartphones equipped with the NFC (Near Field Communication)function based on the Android OS (Operating System). The location of a smartphone'sNFC module may vary depending on the phone, and NFC use may be restricted on some smartphones due to differences in transmission methods. Because of the characteristics of NFC,if the transmission distance is too far,or if there is a metal sticker or protective case on the phone, the transmission will not be good. In some cases, NFC-equipped phones may be unable to transmit successfully...^Ivan

Why, no matter which cycle is selected, the total cycle time gets increased by 20~30 mins when the "High Temp." option is on?? This is supposed to just increase the water temperature but not the cycle time. It's not an extra rinse option after all.

When you select the "High Temp" option on the LG Front Control Dishwasher with QuadWash™, Model # LDFN454HT, it increases the cycle time because of the time it takes for the water to be heated to the required temperature...^Ivan

Is there a paricular wash cycle for the LG Front Control Dishwasher with QuadWash™, Model # LDFN454HT that you are interested in finding out its cycle time? This dishwasher features Auto, Heavy, Delicate, Normal, and Turbo wash cycles. The actual running time and cycle time displayed may change depending on options chosen, soil level, water temperature, and hardness of water. Why the power is turned on every time I stand close to the dishwasher?

Regrettably, there is no way to determine why the power for your LG Front Control Dishwasher with QuadWash™, Model # LDFN454HT turns on every time you stand close to it without inspecting the unit to determine what the cause is. It should not be turning on just by standing close to it so you may have an issue with the wiring, but that will require a qualified technician to inspect the unit and determine what the issue is and resolve it...^Ivan
