What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new appliances. I am very satisfied with all of them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Amazing Deal Along With Great Dryer When the dryer went went out in our rental house, we decided to buy a new one. We looked at a few stores before stopping at one. This dryer was on clearance merely for "scratches." Those were easily taken care of by a magic eraser. To have my clothes and towels dry in half to a quarter of the time the old dryer did is going to save so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this washer! I bought this washer about a month ago and love all the features on it! At last I now can wash my bedspreads and large blankets at home instead of taking them to a dirty, germ filled laundromat. Absolutely in love!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dryer Drum= Achilles Heel We purchased our dryer a little over a year ago and with normal wear and tear we subsequently had a crack in our drum. I understand that parts don’t last forever but it’s been terrible trying to get a replacement. It is not offered through LG. The actual part has been updated from the original making me believe that they had fixed the deficiencies. But again the part has been backordered for almost 2 months. It’s almost not worth it to be without the dryer and stuck in limbo for a replacement part. I may just have to purchase a new model and my confidence in this defect may lead me to another company for simply the lack of support and parts available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This machine has exceeded my expectations I have had this dryer for a little over a month, and I am very pleased with its performance. It dries so much more quickly and efficiently than my last dryer. I haven't even had a chance to use all of its sophisticated settings yet! I look forward to this dryer lasting for a looong time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nearly perfect This is our second LG washer/dryer pair. We upgraded with our recent purchase and are enjoying the extra features (especially the steam options). The only issue is a periodic rattling noise when the dryer is running. Otherwise, the overall rating would be a "5-star."

HOW DO I DRY BULKY ITEMS

MY ELECTRIC DRYER WILL NOT DRY THINGS LIKE PILLOWS AND QUILTS. THE DRYER WILL RUN FOR A FEW MINUTES AND TURN OFF. WHAT SHOULD I BE DOING?
Asked by: kasmi
HI Kasmi, we regret to read that you're not able to dry Bulky Items in your LG 7.3 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity SteamDryer™ (Electric), Model # DLEX3070W. Although 7.3 cubic feet is a large capacity, keep in mind that both pillows and quilts when wet can be heavy. You specifically mention that the dryer runs for as few minutes then turns off for these type of items, if it's not happening with other items then you may just need to make your drying loads smaller and lighter. Check the display for any error codes that may indicate if there is a problem. If not, hopefully lessening the load helps resolve the issue...^IFV

ON the display there are two columns of lights

they range from High to Low/off - what do the mean. They are no explained in the manual.
Asked by: fgnmdsvgvsdvs
I believe you are referring to the temperature setting?= TEMP CONTROL Dry level= for the sensor to decide how long to dry TIME DRY= manual modification of drying time (only non-sensor dry options)

What is the wattage of the electric dryer: DLEX3070?

I want to estimate annual energy use.
Asked by: ttownsend46
We appreciate your interest in this electric dryer. The wattage used will be directly affected by the power cord installed. If the unit is connected at 208V, the device will run at about 4,350 watts. When connected at 240V, it will be closer to 5,650 watts. These values are approximate and can vary according to the age and usage of the device.

Exact location of duct on back of dryer

I am looking for a picture (or drawing) showing the exact location of the duct on the back of the dryer. Thank you. This is for the LG Electronics 7.3 cu. ft. Extra Large Capacity Electric Steam Dryer
Asked by: Lotan
Hello Lotan, You can see a diagram of the back of the dryer in question showing you where the duct is located on the unit by downloading the free user manual from the LG site or when you watch the Video tutorial on how to maintain your unit. You can type the model number of the unit into the search field on the site and when the unit page comes up, click on the product support tab and that will bring up a page with the manuals & documents link under the Downloads heading. Scrolling further down on that page will bring you to the Video tutorials and you van see where the duct is located from the maintenance video.

Is this unit suitable for commercial use?

Asked by: Studios
I just got one of these under three months ago and it is already broken. Our house hold is only 2 people and we clean it monthly. I would say no for commercial use.

Wow you should not do this if you don't know the color code for ac, you should get an electrician and not burn your house down or electrocute yourself.
