Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lint trap cover keeps warping and catching clothes I've had my machine a little over a year. I've replaced the lint trap cover while it was under warranty, as it warps and protrudes from the lint trap opening. This then catches clothes (especially drawstrings) and causes all clothes to wad up in a twisted mess. The replacement lint trap cover is also warping, as it is made of plastic. Poor design. LG should have a replacement lint trap cover than does not warp.

Am I able to order this with the vent on the side?

Hi KMark4. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart Wi-Fi Enabled SteamDryer™, Model # DLEX3700W cannot be ordered with the vent duct configured for side venting. It is shipped from the factory configured to vent to the rear. You will need to purchase an adapter kit, Part # 3838EEL9001B that contains the duct components necessary to change the dryer vent location to the right, the left or to the bottom. The dryer has tabs on the sides and bottom that can be knocked out for the vent duct location of your preference and there is a cover plate that you can use to cover the rear duct opening...^IFV

I purchased a washer / dryer with pedestals and will be installing them for the first time. Are there additional kits required? Is there a special process when installing on pedestals?

To stack the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled SteamDryer™, Model # DLEX3700V onto its matching washer, you will need the 27" LG Stacking Kit, Model # KSTK1. Page 17 of your owner's manual for the dryer has explicit instructions and illustrated diagrams that guide you through the stacking procedure...^IFV

Help! We’ve had this dryer for five months and the lint tray will not stay down. It keeps destroying any clothes with straps or strings that get caught. What do we do? I’m tired of having to replace my clothes!

What is the Energy Star Rating for this Dryer?

Energy Star Qualification does not have tiers. Products earn the ENERGY STAR label by meeting the energy efficiency requirements set form in ENERGY STAR product specifications. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires all ENERGY STAR products to be third-party certified. Products are tested in an EPA-recognized laboratory and reviewed by an EPA-recognized certification body before they can carry the label. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified 7.4 cu. ft. does this model include the steam hoses in the package?

Two hoses of varying length and a "Y" connector come as included accessories with the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled SteamDryer™, Model # DLEX3700W. The "Y" connector allows you to split the cold water supply line for your washer so you can connect one branch of the "Y" connector to your washer with its cold water hose and connect the "Y" connector to your cold water faucet with the shorter of the hoses for the dryer. The longer hose that comes with the dryer can then be used to connect from the other branch of the "Y" connector to the water inlet valve on the dryer...^IFV

Where does this model get the water to make steam??  Does it require any hardware to hook it up??
